Lockdown on day 13

April 8 :    We decided to do some fruit and veg shopping at Rocket Seed in the Baakens Valley today.  At the moment they are trading 3 mornings per week. 

     Donning our masks and with a shopping list to confirm our necessary outing, Kia drove the Getz with me in the back as per regulation.

      There was a que outside the shop respecting social distancing and and two people at a time were allowed inside. So today I did shopping with the help of WhatsApp photos becsuse Kia told me to  stay in the car...



   Then a stop at First Ave Spar in Walmer before heading home. Fortunately no roadblock on our trip

     There were too many people just strolling about. The 1pm news told  us about our Minister of Communication not comlying to the stay home regulation.  She was called to the President's office and suspended for two months (one month unpaid).

      Late afternoon I watered the garden while Kia did some serious woodwork. 

In Kyalami, Yael was looking adorable in her cosy suit...
