Kia's lockdown birthday!

This is 2 April and the 7th day of Lockdown.

     Kia is 35 today.   She could not receive guests but had  many messages and calls to make the day special.

     She started the day with fruit salad in bed.

    We did a bit of labour in the front garden and Alan from the RH SRA stopped his bakkie to have a chat and brought news of the Sherlock Street community.

    Neighbour James took our short shopping list to Humerail Spar.   I subsequently cooked a meal of chicken and roasted vegetables for him as well as Vasco and Violet. 

    Eon and Inge video called Kia before they went to bed in Wellington (roughly 11 am SAtime).  This evening Emile and Jana called and Ilan sang Happy birthday Tannie Kia.
